Training and Experience:
Rachel is experienced in counselling adults within the charity Mind and privately. She also has extensive experience of counselling young people within a youth counselling agency and a school. She offers both short and long-term counselling to adults and young people from the age of 14. Rachel trained and qualified from a BACP accredited course by the University of Greenwich. She is a registered member of the BACP and works according to their code of ethics.
Rachel’s approach to counselling is ‘humanistic’, taking a holistic approach to the elements of us that make us whole: mind, body and spirit. Her focus is on reconnecting individuals with their inner voice to provide them with deeper self-awareness and understanding. The experience and process can enable individuals to feel more accepting of themselves and to see themselves as having choices with the inner support, strength and resourcefulness to bring about change in a way that is right for them.
